Why did we build RecoverWell?

Too many Tennesseans who want to stop using opioids hit the same walls: the nearest clinic is an hour away, appointments only happen during work hours, and walking through the door feels like a public confession. Meanwhile, opioid use disorder remains one of the most treatable conditions in medicine — when treatment is actually reachable.

RecoverWell removes those walls. Appointments happen by secure video from your home, Monday through Friday. Prescriptions go straight to your local pharmacy. And your care comes from a physician-led medical team that treats addiction like what it is — a medical condition, not a character flaw.

What does CARF accreditation mean?

RecoverWell is accredited by CARF International, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. CARF accreditation means our programs, safety practices, and quality standards have been reviewed against internationally recognized benchmarks — independent proof that the care here is real medicine, delivered accountably.

Who is behind RecoverWell?

RecoverWell is a division of Shrinkty Behavioral Health, a Tennessee psychiatric practice with offices in Murfreesboro, McMinnville, and Dickson. That connection matters: recovery and mental health go hand in hand, and our patients have a direct path to psychiatric care, therapy, and medication management when they need it.
