Call 931-365-2175 or email info@recoverwellhealth.com. Our team answers your questions, gathers basic information, and schedules your first appointment — often within days.

Your first evaluation

You'll meet a medical provider over secure, HIPAA-compliant video (or in person in McMinnville, Murfreesboro, or Dickson). They'll review your history, your opioid use, your goals, and whether Suboxone® is right for you — then build your treatment plan with you.

Start medication

Your provider sends the prescription electronically to a pharmacy near you and gives you clear instructions for starting the medication safely, including how to time your first dose to avoid precipitated withdrawal.

Follow up and stay on track

Regular follow-up visits — by video, 7 days a week — keep your dose right, monitor progress, and adjust the plan as your recovery grows. Periodic drug screens are a routine, judgment-free part of safe treatment.

Why does counseling matter alongside medication?

Medication relieves withdrawal and cravings, but lasting recovery is bigger than a prescription. According to SAMHSA, medication for opioid use disorder is most effective as part of a complete plan that includes counseling and recovery support. That's why counseling is built into RecoverWell treatment — your intake and monthly visits include counselor sessions using evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Patients who need more — psychiatric evaluation, medication management for mental health, ongoing therapy — have a direct path to our parent practice, Shrinkty Behavioral Health.

Do you treat addictions other than opioids?

Yes. In addition to Suboxone® treatment for opioid use disorder, RecoverWell treats alcohol, kratom, benzodiazepine, and methamphetamine addiction with medication-assisted treatment where appropriate, counseling, and outpatient support. The process starts the same way: one call, a video evaluation, and a plan built around your situation.

No. Treatment is available entirely by secure video anywhere in Tennessee. If you prefer face-to-face care, our McMinnville, Murfreesboro, and Dickson offices see patients Monday–Friday.

How fast can I start?

Often within days. Telemedicine appointments run 7 days a week, so you don't have to wait for "office hours" to begin recovery.

Will I need drug screens?

Yes — periodic screening is a standard part of safe, responsible medication-assisted treatment everywhere. It confirms treatment is working and keeps you safe. It is never used to shame you.
